METHOD FOR OPERATIONS AND CHECKS BEFORE STARTING ENGINE

WARNING

When  starting  the  engine,  securely  press  the  work  equip-
ment  lock  switch  to  lock  the  work  equipment,  and  make
the work equipment lock pilot lamp light up.
If  the  work  equipment  is  not  locked  and  work  equipment
control lever (A) is touched by mistake, it may lead to seri-
ous accident.

Perform the check before starting the engine according to the
following procedure.

1.

Check that battery disconnect switch (S) is in ON position.

2.

Check that the cover of engine shutdown secondary switch
(1) is closed.

3.

Check that parking brake switch (2) is in ON position (a).

4.

Check that AJSS lever (3) is in NEUTRAL position.

REMARK

If the AJSS lever is not in NEUTRAL position, when turn-
ing the starting switch to ON position, the alarm buzzer
sounds (in a period of 0.25 seconds), and the engine can-
not be started.
