Design Features
The valve is designed specifically for use with 3/4
″
(1.9 cm) top spud
washout urinals as offered by Kohler Company and others. It is not
designed for use with blowout or siphon jet flushing systems.
The valve is supplied with factory preset timing values. No
programming or adjustment is required.
Depending upon use, the lithium battery can be expected to last for
two or three years before replacement is required.
Flush Operations
NOTE:
The pre-flush feature can be disabled if desired using a
magnetic key. For more information, call Kohler Customer Service at

order online 24 hours at www.kohler.com.
The Exposed Electronic Urinal Valve provides the following flushing
operations:
An automatic pre-flush operation:
Shortly after the individual
approaches the urinal, the valve provides a preliminary flush that
lasts just a few seconds.
An automatic main flush operation:
Shortly after the individual
departs the urinal, the valve provides a main flush that lasts for
several seconds.
An automatic 24-hour flush operation:
Once every 24-hours, the
valve produces a full flush.
Vandalism Protection
Your Kohler urinal valve has a vandal resistant feature. If the sensor
detects a continuous presence for 180 seconds, it enters the vandal
resistant state. In this state, it immediately performs a normal flush but
does not flush again until the sensor does not detect a presence. The
valve returns to the normal state if there is no target detected for more
than two seconds. When it goes to normal state, it performs a normal
flush.
Low Battery Indication
The lithium battery can be expected to last for two or three years
before replacement is required. When the battery reaches a certain
point in its lifetime, the valve announces the low battery condition by
Kohler Co.
