Remove the urinal valve cover.
•
Check for corrosion on the
connections between the sensor
and the solenoid.
•
If possible, clean the terminals.
•
If unable to repair the
connection, order a new sensor
assembly or a new solenoid
assembly, as required.
•
Inspect the O-ring seals under
the solenoid for cuts or debris.
•
Remove any debris.
•
If the solenoid or O-rings are
damaged or if no other fault is
found, order a new solenoid
assembly.
•
Reassemble the unit.

Battery Life
Expired
•
NOTE:
The unit requires a
standard 6-Volt lithium battery.
This item is not available from
Kohler but can be purchased at
many stores locally.
•
Remove the urinal valve cover
and replace the battery.
F.
Filter is
Plugged
•
Turn off the water supply.
•
Disconnect the urinal valve
from the control stop and the
vacuum breaker assembly.
•
Remove the retaining nut from
the inlet valve arm.
•
Remove the filter screen.
•
Clean any debris on the filter
screen or in the inlet arm.
•
Reinstall the filter screen.
•
Reassemble the unit.

Solenoid
Broken
•
Contact Kohler for the new
solenoid service kit.

Sensor Eyes

Replace the sensor assembly.
