Clean the Diaphragm (cont.)
Use the supplied hex head wrench to loosen the inlet arm
setscrew.
Use a strap wrench to loosen and remove the inlet arm from the
valve body.
Remove the diaphragm.
Rinse any debris from the diaphragm.
NOTE:
If required, use a pliers to remove the diaphragm support.
If it was removed, insert a new diaphragm support ring in the
inlet arm.
Insert the new diaphragm with the knobby or bumpy side facing
out from the inlet arm.
Thread the inlet arm into the valve body until it reaches the end
of travel. This may require several turns.
Using a 2.5 mm hex key, tighten the inlet arm’s setscrew.
NOTE:
Align the arrows on the connectors for proper alignment
Connect the DC sensor connector to the solenoid connector.
CAUTION: Risk of property damage.
Ensure that the unit’s
wires are not caught between the cap and the valve body.
Place the cap on the valve body and install the hex head screw.
Open the control stop valve (refer to the

section).
Verify the urinal valve’s function.

adjustment where Kohler Co. inspection discloses any such defects
