10.5.2 Image
Sets up the parameters associated with the image.
(1) Enhance
The dynamic range of the sounder image can be changed from 25dB to 65dB in 10dB steps and
is adjusted in “Enhance” of the soft menu’s GAIN window.
If a large value is set, the density of fish schools can be more easily determined. Large values are
also better suited when viewing fish schools and plankton together.
As the setting value becomes smaller, the display image behaves more like a conventional
sounder showing the sea bottom and fish schools in red.
Setting range:
25dB, 35dB, 45dB, 55dB, 65dB

If the White Line is set, the surface of the sea bottom
is displayed as a white line of a certain thickness. This
feature makes fish schools that are hidden among the
