7.4.3 Changing the display mode
Changes the Radar screen mode.
Display the soft key menu (RADAR/PAGE2) and press the ”MODE” key.
Every time the mode key is pressed the display mode changes from H UP
→
N UP / S UP
→
C UP
→
TM
→
H UP.
The selected mode is displayed in the top left of the screen.
Own ship’s heading or course information is needed to display the N UP, C UP, TM modes.
Own ship’s speed information needs to be input to display the TM mode.
N-UP or S-UP can be selected in the area settings of the SYSTEM MENU.
7.4.4 Eliminating interference
To eliminate any interference from other ships’ radars from appearing on the screen (random lines and
dots covering the whole screen) turn the IR function to ON. There are 2 levels of interference rejection,
IR1 and IR2 where IR2 is the stronger setting.
Display the soft key menu (RADAR/PAGE2) and press the ”IR” key.
Every time the key is pressed the IR function changes from OFF
