Opening the
Printer Access Door

1. Locate the printer access door on the top of the scanner.

2. Pull the printer access door latches toward you to release the door.

3. Lift the printer access door and set it aside.

WARNING:The printer access door must be in place and closed

during scanner operation, except when changing the
printhead location or replacing the ink cartridge.

When the printer access door is removed, DO NOT
allow loose clothing, jewelry, hair, or other objects to
enter the printer opening.
