Free format
A
event is issued, directly transferring all bits received through the
Wiegand port, with no format processing at all. For that reason, whatever parity bits that
might exist are also included in the
data.
No parity check is performed, so caution must be taken if the incoming data is to be used
for access control or other applications where security is required:
data integrity is not
guaranteed in Free Format mode
