Keysight U2741A Programmer’s Reference Guide

*ESR?

Syntax

*ESR?

This query returns the value of the event register of the Standard Event group as a 

decimal value that corresponds to the binary-weighted sum of all bits set in the 

register.

Parameter

Remarks

– Once a bit is set, it will remain set until cleared by reading the event register or 

the clear status (

*CLS

) command.

– For more information on the Standard Event registers, refer to 

Chapter 2, 

“SCPI Status Registers”

 on page 19.
