Step 7: Install the Software
You can monitor and control the ASM or the chassis entirely from the Web
Interface. To use the ASM Soft Front Panel (SFP) to monitor and control the ASM,
and to develop programs to control the ASM, you will need to install the software
(IVI or LabVIEW) appropriate for your programming environment. To do so:
1 Insert the Keysight AXIe Chassis and Controller Software and Product
Information CD in the host PC. If you do not have the CD or a CD drive on your
PC, you can download the most recent version of the SFP and drivers
at
www.keysight.com/find/M9521A

2 Select the M9521A menu and click the Install Driver Software button and follow
the browser prompts to install the drivers you will need.
Launch the Soft Front Panel
As mentioned previously, you can use either the Web Interface or the soft front
panel (SFP) to monitor the ASM. Note also that the soft front panel (SFP)
provides more functionality than the Web Interface. To launch the SFP, click on
the Windows Start button. Under All Programs , click on Keysight , then AXIe System
Module (M9521) , then AXIeSM SFP .
