Gateway
A gateway is a network device that connects networks. The default gateway setting is the IP address of such a
device.
– You need not set a gateway address if using DHCP.
– Contact your LAN administrator for details.
– This setting is non-volatile; it will not be changed by power cycling or *RST or SYSTem:PRESet.

Select Gateway field using the navigation keys. Set the appropriate gateway address and press
Back
.

Press
Yes
to save the setting.
4.
Press
No
to cancel all the changes and exit without saving.
DNS
DNS (Domain Name Service) is an Internet service that translates domain names into IP addresses. The DNS server
address is the IP address of a server that performs this service.
– Normally, DHCP discovers DNS address information; you only need to change this if DHCP is unused or not
functional. Contact your LAN administrator for details.
– This setting is non-volatile; it will not be changed by power cycling or *RST or SYSTem:PRESet.

AutoDNS On
to configure the addressing of the instrument in
DNS server automatically.

AutoDNS Off
to configure the addressing of the instrument
manually.
3.
Select DNS(1) Addr and DNS(2) Addr using the navigation keys. These fields only appear when AutoDNS is set
to Off.
4.
Set the desired primary and secondary address and press

.
5.
Select mDNS Service field using the navigation keys.
6.
Press
Yes
to save the setting.
7.
Press
No
to cancel all the changes and exit without saving.
