Introduction

1

AXIe Instrument Modules 

The chassis slots accept AXIe instrument modules. These may comprise one or 

more instruments for signal injection, data acquisition, and measurement. Install 

them in any available AXIe slot. However, if the integrated controller is activated, 

only Keysight M9703B, M9709A, and M9710A series digitizers will be operational. 

Other modules including embedded controllers may be installed, but they will not 

function. The integrated controller may be switched off through the chassis’ web 

interface. Please refer to Chapter 

“Troubleshooting and Service”

 on page 77 for 

details. 

The drawing below illustrates the AXIe module’s general layout, backplane 

connections and chassis fasteners, viewed from the top. 

NOTE

Option BC1 only supports Keysight M9703B, M9709A, and M9710A 

series digitizers.
