Using the GPS Function (GPS Function)

Description
Global Positioning System (GPS) is the system to acquire the current location information of the own transceiver
by receiving signals from the Global Positioning System satellites orbiting the earth.
The transceiver of the mobile station can send the acquired own location information (GPS data) to the base
station. The base station can send received GPS data to the PC as serial commands.
Operating the transceiver

Transceiver behavior :
When GPS Report Interval Time expired, or when receiving a
GPS Data transmission request, it sends GPS Data.
"SEND DAT" is displayed during GPS data transmission.
When "COMPLETE" is displayed 1 second when GPS data
transmission is completed.
The Transmit LED lights up while sending GPS data.

Description

is the ID of the target transceiver used for sending GPS data.
By using KPG-D6/ D6N, either Unit ID or Group ID can be configured as

The ID of the base station which is responsible for operation and administration of system is normally
configured.

Description
The transceiver can send GPS data by adding the GPS data to a Status Message using DMR.
To use this function,

must be enabled by using KPG-D6/ D6N. The range of
status numbers (

) to which GPS data can be added can be configured.
