Parental Control
The basic settings that can be made here are described in the settings
for parental control in the “Password” chapter.
System Information
The “System Information” position contains factory settings that can
not be changed and that are only intended for servicing.
Press on
to return to the “System Parameters” submenu.
Local time/Timer
At the factory, the receiver shows the “UTC” (Universal Time
Coordinate, previously Greenwich Meantime). This time is correct
in the UK, but must be corrected for other locations (e.g. in Germany,
CET is applicable - UTC + 1 hour).
Note:
You may have to correct for summertime.
You can make these corrections yourself in half-hour steps using the
buttons, or manually using the
numerical
buttons.
To do this, move the cursor bar with the
button to the “Local
time/Timer” position. To conclude your entry, press the
-button
twice. The receiver stores the new setting.
Note:
After doing this, do not switch the receiver using the power switch, but
instead use the remote control as the settings will otherwise be lost!
