COLLEGAMENTO STANDARD ALL’IM-
PIANTO DI RISCALDAMENTO E RE-
FRIGERAZIONE
ATTENZIONE! É OBBLIGATORIO L’ IN-
STALLAZIONE DELLA VALVOLA ED
UN ADEGUATO SISTEMA (CONTROL-
LO) DI GESTIONE (REGOLAZIONE)
Di seguito elenchiamo i motivi per
cui è necessario installare la valvola
a 3 vie E UN RELATIVO SISTEMA DI
GESTIONE:
- Cassette con scheda elettronica a
bordo
1) Se non viene chiuso il fl usso
dell’acqua attraverso la valvola, al
raggiungimento della temperatura
ambiente, il sensore aria installato in
aspirazione viene infl luenzato dallo
scambiatore che per convezione na-
turale lo raffredda o lo riscalda. Il ri-
sultato è che l’unità non regola cor-
rettamente la temperatura o non
parte.
2) L’unità regolata, deve avere un si-
stema di protezione che interviene
chiudendo il fl usso dell’acqua trami-
te la valvola nei casi in cui:
a) Vi è un problema di scarico con-
densa (se non ho la valvola che chiu-
de il fl usso dell’acqua la batteria con-
tinua a condensare provocando la
tracimazione dalla bacinella di rac-
colta condensa).
b) L’utente sbaglia ad inserire il
modo di funzionamento: caldo anzi-
ché freddo.
c) La temperatura dell’acqua sale a
70°C e può degradare le parti inter-
ne.
3) L’unità è stata progettata per ri-
scaldare e raffrescare l’ambiente
aprendo e chiudendo il fl usso dell’ac-
qua: questo permette di avere una
regolazione ottimale all’interno del
locale in cui si trova evitando gli spre-
chi.
4) Se l’unità rimane spenta per mol-
to tempo in modalità raffreddamento
e non viene chiuso il fl usso dell’ac-
qua, si possono formare delle goccio-
line di condensa in corrispondenza
delle bocchette di mandata aria e
quindi un conseguente gocciolamen-
to dell’unità.
ATTENZIONE!
- Utilizzate sempre chiavi di dimen-
sioni adeguate per fi ssare o allenta-
re le tubazioni dell’acqua;
- È di fondamentale importanza iso-
lare adeguatamente i tubi, le valvole
e le connessioni al fi ne di evitare la
formazione di condensa che potreb-
be gocciolare sui controsoffi tti cau-
sando notevoli problemi.
Gli attacchi idraulici sono fi ssati alla
struttura dell’unità in modo da evita-
re rotture durante l’allacciamento
delle tubazioni; si consiglia comun-
que di tenere il raccordo fi sso con
una chiave. L’attacco superiore della
batteria è provvisto di valvolina di
sfogo aria, l’attacco inferiore di valvo-
lina di drenaggio, manovrabili con
chiave da 10 mm o con cacciavite
(notare che la batteria è solo parzial-
mente drenabile; per il completo dre-
naggio si consiglia di soffi are aria
nella batteria).
Coppia di serraggio valvolina 2,5Nm.
WATER CONNECTIONS
STANDARD WATER CONNECTION TO
HEATING/ COOLING SYSTEM
ATTENTION! INSTALLATION OF THE
VALVE AND AN ADEQUATE MANAGE-
MENT (CONTROL) SYSTEM (REGULA-
TION) IS COMPULSORY
The following reasons explain why it is
necessary to install the 3-way valve
AND A RELATIVE MANAGEMENT SY-
STEM:
- Cassettes with a control board on-
board
1) If the water fl ow is not closed via
the valve when the room temperatu-
re is reached, the air sensor installed
in intake mode is conditioned by the
heat exchanger that cools it or heats
it via natural convection. The result is
that the unit will not adjust the tem-
perature correctly or it will not go on.
2) The regulated unit must have a
protection system that intervenes by
closing the water fl ow through the
valve in cases where:
a) Where there is a condensate di-
scharge problem (if the valve does
not close the water fl ow, the battery
will continue to condense, causing
the condensation basin to overfl ow).
b) The user enters the operating
mode incorrectly: hot instead of cold.
c) The water temperature rises to 70
° C and can degrade internal parts.
3) The unit has been developed to
heat and cool the environment by
means of water fl ow control: this al-
lows for optimal adjustment inside
the room where it is installed.

4) If the unit remains turned off for a
long time in cooling mode and the
water fl ow is not closed, droplets of
condensation may form at the air
outlets, which will subsequently lead
to a dripping unit.
ATTENTION!
- Always use suitably sized wrenches
to fi x or slacken the water pipes.
- It is essential to insulate pipes, val-
ves and connections correctly in or-
der to avoid the formation of conden-
sation, which could drip into
suspended ceilings causing conside-
rable problems.
The water connections are fi xed to
the unit body to avoid damage when
pipes are connected. It is advisable
to tighten the connection with a
wrench. The upper coil connection is
fi tted with an air valve and the lower
connection with a drain valve, suita-
ble for a 10 mm wrench or screwdri-
ver. (The coil is only partially draina-
ble; it is advisable to blow air into the
coil for complete drainage)
Valve tightening torque 2.5 Nm.
