in the “Local Area Connection Properties” dialog box” screen

Select “Use the following IP address”.

Set “IP address”. (For use at default setting without
DHCP server, enter 10.0.0.100)

Enter appropriate values for “Subnet mask”. If
unknown, ask to your network administrator.
(For compatibility with default settings use
255.0.0.0)

If there is a “Default gateway”, enter the IP
address. (For example, 10.0.0.254)

Always take a memo of the original IP address
before making changes.

Do not use the same IP addresses within a LAN.
