ELECTRICAL SAFETY
1. Electrical equipment (including lines and plug connections) should not be defective.
2. The generating set must not be connected to other power sources, such as the power company
supply mains.
3. Protection against electrical shock depends on circuit breaker specially matched to the
generating set. If the circuit breakers require replacement they must be replaced with a circuit
breaker having identical ratings and performance characteristics.
4. Generating sets may only be loaded up to their rated power under the rated ambient
conditions. If generating set use is under conditions which do not conform to the reference
conditions as stipulated in this part of ISO 8528, if cooling of the engine or alternator is
impaired, e.g. as result of operation in restricted areas, and use in higher temperatures,
altitudes and humidity than those given in the reference conditions, a reduction in power is
necessary.
5. Due to high mechanical stresses only tough rubber-sheathed flexible cable (in accordance
with IEC 60245-4) or the equivalent should be used. When using extension lines or mobile
distribution networks the total length of lines for a cross section of 1,5 mm² should not
exceed 60m; for a cross section of 2,5 mm² this should not exceed 100m.
PRE-OPERATION CHECK
1. Filling the Engine Oil
SAE 10W-30 is recommended for general, all temperature use. Other viscosities shown in the chart may be
used when the average temperature in your area is within the indicated range.
a) Remove the Oil replenishment plug (17) and wipe the dipstick clean.
b) Check the oil level by inserting the dipstick into the filler neck without screwing it in,
c) If the level is low, fill to the upper limit of the oil filler neck with the recommended oil.
CAUTION
!
Carefully pour in engine oil Avoid spilling!
2. Filling the diesel
You must fill the fuel before start the engine.
- Open the diesel tank cap.
- Fill in diesel to the diesel tank,do not higher than the warning line of the diesel tank.
- Close the diesel tank cap.
3.Environmental protection
- Dispose of soiled maintenance material and operating materials at the appropriate collection point.
- Recycle packaging material, metal and plastics.
4.Connecting to earth
The housing is allowed to be connected to earth in order to discharge static electricity. To do this, connect
one end of a cable to the Grounding terminal (11) on the generator and the other end to an external earth
(for example an earthing rod).
5.Connect the Electrical Start Battery
-Connect the red wire to the "+" pole of the battery and the black wire to the "-" pole of the battery.
CAUTION
!
Check the battery every 3 months! If the generator is out of use for a
longer time,Please remove the battery and store it in a safe and dry place (eg, wintering in
the boiler room).
Initial Operation Safety Instructions
No sensitive electronic instruments and HI-FI, television sets, computers should be
connected because of voltage spikes! These instruments could be damaged.
1. Put the unit on a flat base. Do not put it on a metal base.
2. Do not expose the unit to strong sunshine and temperatures above 40°C. Do not store it in moist ambient
conditions.
3. Before using it, make sure that the input of the appliance to be connected to the unit is lower than the
output of the generator.
4. Do not connect the appliance to the generator before the later is running at full. Disconnect the appliance
before switching the generator off.
d) Tighten the Oil replenishment plug (17).
