SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read the Operating Instructions carefully before use!
•
Always take basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances to safeguard against the risk
of fire, electric shock or personal injury.
•
To avoid electric shock, never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
•
The appliance is not intended to be used by persons (children or adults) with any form of functional
disorder or by persons who do not have sufficient experience or know-how on how to use it, in so
far as they have not received instructions concerning the use of the appliance from someone who
is responsible for their safety.
•
Keep children under supervision to make sure they do not play with the appliance.
•
Turn off and unplug the appliance before cleaning and when it is not in use. Do not pull the power
cord to disconnect the plug from the mains socket. Never carry the appliance by the cord.
•
Do not use the appliance if the cord or plug is damaged, if the appliance is not working properly, or
if the appliance is damaged in any other way.
•
Do not allow the cord to hang over the edge of a table or worktop, or to touch hot surfaces. Do not
place the appliance on, or close to a hot cooker.
•
Never use the appliance for anything other than the purpose for which it is intended. The appliance
is only intended for domestic use.
•
Do not dismantle the appliance or try to repair it. The appliance does not contain any parts that can
be repaired by the user.
•
Do not use the appliance outdoors.
•
Do not use accessories other than those recommended or sold by the appliance manufacturer. The
use of other accessories can cause fire, electric shock or personal injury.
•
Parts of the appliance can get hot during use – risk of burn injuries. Use the handle and knobs.
Allow the appliance to cool before cleaning.
•
Only use the appliance on a level surface that can withstand heat. Do not use the appliance on a
sink unit or in the sink, or on uneven or sloping surfaces.
•
Do not use strong, abrasive or corrosive detergents or oven cleaners.
•
The appliance cannot be used with external timers or remote controls.
•

Failure to follow the safety instructions can cause the appliance to be damaged.

A damaged cord must be replaced by an authorised service centre, or other qualified person, to
ensure the appliance is safe to use.
•
The appliance must only be used as it is intended to be used in accordance with these instructions.

The machine is not intended for industrial or commercial use.
Preparations
1.
Carefully unpack the baking machine. Remove all the packaging materials.
2.
Take out the bread pan. Wipe the oven chamber with a soft cloth or sponge. Do not use abrasive
or strong detergents. These can damage the oven chamber.
3.
Wash the bread pan in warm water and washing-up liquid. Rinse and allow to dry.
4.
Grease the bread pan and replace it empty in the hot oven. Allow it to stand for about 10 minutes.
Wash the bread pan again.
5.
Replace the bread pan in the oven. Fix the dough paddle on the shaft in the baking area. The
appliance is now ready to be used.
