Disassembling of the needle bar crank rod
1. Remove needle
and face plate. "Refer to (2) Disassembling and
assembling of the face plate".
2. Loosen setscrew in frame support , and remove frame support
.
3. Lower the needle bar, loosen setscrew in needle bar rocking shaft
, remove needle bar rocking shaft , and remove needle bar rock-
ing base . At this time, be careful not to lose needle bar connecting
rod and square block .
4. Remove crank rod setscrew , and remove crank rod .
At this time, be careful not to lose square block .
5. Remove needle bar crank setscrew , and remove needle bar crank
.
6. Loosen crank rod shaft setscrew , and remove crank rod shaft .
Draw it out on the E-ring side since E-ring is attached.
Assembling of the needle bar crank rod
1. Paying attention to the direction of crank rod
, enter crank rod shaft
, adjust it to the flat position with the protruding amount of 7.8 mm,
tighten setscrew , and install crank rod shaft .
2. Install needle bar crank to counter weight with setscrew .
3. Paying attention to the direction of crank rod , enter square block
to crank rod shaft , assemble them to needle bar crank , and
tighten setscrew .
4. Paying attention to the direction and entering procedure of needle
bar connecting rod , assemble needle bar rocking base while
entering square block .
5. Enter needle bar rocking shaft with the flat section upward, and
tighten setscrew while taking the lengthwise thrust.
6. Enter frame support , and tighten setscrew while taking the
lengthwise thrust.
7. Assemble the face plate "refer to (2) Disassembling and assembling
of the face plate", and attach needle .
o There is a flat section at setscrew
section of frame support .
o There is a flat section at setscrew
section of needle bar rocking shaft

o There is a flat section at setscrew
section of crank rod shaft .
o Set the oil hole of square block
to the upside
o A s s e m b l e s o t h a t t h e b a s e
smoothly rocks without looseness.
o There is a flat section at setscrew
section of frame support .
Assemble so that needle bar rock-
ing base
smoothly rocks with-
out looseness.
