1. Align engraved line

stopper guide A . Slide the guide on the top of the tongue stopper
mount bases until the guide contacts with end projections

tighten the setscrews .
2. Adjust tongue stopper installing base so that the clearance be-
tween the bottom end of tongue stopper S and the top surface of
throat plate is 0.5 mm, and fix the tongue stopper with setscrew
while pressing the tongue stopper to the edge in the rear of side face
plate
.
3. Adjust the origin of Y bottom feed. "Refer to (16) Adjusting tof sen-
sors 2".
(Caution) Correctly adjust the origin since it becomes the origin
for all.
* Tongue stopper S : 3.5 mm in thickness. We can also offer
you optional tongue stoppers for lightweight materials SS with
1.7 mm in thickness and for heavyweight materials T with 6.0
mm in thickness. You can select depending on your needs.
* Tongue stopper guide A as a standard type, tongue stopper
guide B as an accessory (for AMB-189 tongue). We can also
offer you optional tongue stopper guide C for knitted materials
with 3.5 mm in thickness and tongue stopper guide D with 6.0
mm in thickness.
4. When performing sewing flat button with blindstitch, fix spacer
A (Part No. : 40020764) supplied as accessories with setscrews
.
* Underplate spacer A : thickness of 1.6 mm, There are
underplate spacer B : thickness of 2.0 mm and underplate spacer
C : thickness of 2.6 mm as the other optionals. Select a proper
one from among them for use.
Use underplate spacer A as well to make the top surface of cloth the
same as the upper end of tongue stopper S on sewing products of
lightweight materials.
