5. Close the absorber purging valve.

6. Press the purge pump Mg-SW

OFF

button. Stop the service vacuum pump.

7. Remove the purge hose from the absorber purging valve and disconnect the wires of the

vacuum pump from the control panel.

Note:

When connecting and disconnecting the wires of the vacuum pump, close the

MCCB to power off the unit.

Manual method to purge non-condensable gas from the
purge tank

While the absorption chiller-heater operates, non-condensable gas collects in the purging tank. You

can purge those gases manually using the following procedure.

1. Open the water line valve (V15) and purge main valve (VC).

2. Press purge model

button and press the manual purge

button. Start the water

ejector.

3. The water line solenoid valve (SV3) opens. After 10 seconds both the purge solenoid valve (SV1

and SV2) open.

Note:

The chilled water inlet pressure must be higher than 14.5 psig (1 barg) to confirm

the performance of water ejector. The discharge chilled water volume is 50 to 60 L/time.

4. Open the main purge valve (VC) to purge the non-condensable gas from purge tank.

5. The manual purge procedure is complete when the pressure reaches 3 kPa and below on the

pressure sensor.

6. Close the main purge valve.

7. Press the manual purge

OFF

button. Both purge solenoid valves (SV1 and SV2) close

immediately. After 5 seconds, the water line solenoid valve closes.

This chiller-heater has an automatic purge system. The water ejector starts and stops by detecting

the pressure inside the purge tank.

1. Open the water line manual valve (V15) and main purge valve (VC).

2. Press the manual purge

OFF

button.

3. Press the purge mode
