(through the drill guide) to full depth by malleting
on the inserter handle until the distal end of the
inserter handle engages (“bottoms out”) onto the
proximal end of the drill guide.

5. Remove the suture card from the inserter handle;

this will release the free limb

(limb without

suture card and pre-tied sliding knot)

from the

inserter handle.

6. Remove inserter from the anchor by pulling

straight back on handle.

7. Remove sutures from side slot of drill guide.

8. Remove drill guide.

9. Pass free limb of suture construct through the

target soft tissue.

10. Fully close sliding knot:

a. Pass free limb through expanded pre-tied

sliding knot (large opening in suture card).

b. Double over free limb and pinch to form

U-shape in free limb.

c. Pull on doubled-over free limb until the sliding

knot is fully closed around the free limb.
Visually confirm that the PROKNOT sliding knot
is fully closed.

d. Pull sideways on doubled-over free limb to

remove from side slots on suture card.

11. Advance and position sliding knot to repair site.

12. Separate suture tails.

13. Use a knot pusher to apply one (1) half hitch knot

behind the pre-tied sliding knot.

NOTE: To ensure adequate post-operative knot
security, fully seat half hitch knots against the
pre-tied sliding knot or any previous half hitch knots.
NOTE: Apply additional half hitch knots as desired.

14. Trim suture tails.

STORAGE

Store below 25° C (77°F). Do not use after
expiration date.

STERILIZATION

The GRYPHON Anchor with PROKNOT Technology
is provided sterile.

DO NOT RESTERILIZE.
