Display MIDI Tab
If
Write to Display with MIDI
is checked the MCS5 will accept the
Notification SysEx Message
,
described in the earlier section on the
Native MIDI Protocol
. Un-checking the
Write to Display with
MIDI
box will delete any function assigned to the display.
As mentioned earlier, if you want another application to write to the MCS5 screen, but sometimes need to
see the button labels, you can assign the
Labels
function to App Button 8. Whenever you press App
Button 8, the button labels will be shown. Releasing it will cause the display to revert to the built-in
function.
