4. Preparation

IMPORTANT!

In normal working conditions, with the

implement in its horizontal position and being

shifted in a straight line, the contact surface

between the tube and the bar must be 2/3 of

the minimum length of the cardan.

In a more critic situation, the measure of this

overlap must be at least 1/3 of the minimum

length of the cardan.

After coupling, make sure that the cardan

shaft is properly locked in the machine

and tractor shafts. Release of the cardan

shaft during operation may damage the

machine and cause a serious accident if

someone is struck by it.

Do not enter the cardan shaft work area

while the machine is in motion, any

contact with the cardan shaft can cause

a serious accident.

Do not wear wide clothes with belts or

parts that may catch on the cardan's

moving parts.

Never use the cardan without its protective

cover.

CAUTION!

Do not work with the cardan shaft with

an angle above 15

After placing the cardan, fasten the chains

in a way that allows the articulation in any

working condition and transportation.

You must observe the length of the cardan

shaft whenever you use a different tractor

model.

It is the Authorized Dealer sole responsibility

to perform the cardan shaft preparation

and the first activation of the machine.
