JVM-507B Operating system update
Operating system update via USB
A USB flash drive lets you transfer an OS file to the device JVM-507B.

An OS file for the JVM-507B is available.
 The operating system of the JVM-507B as of version 4.01.0.44 is running.

The controller must not be de-energized during the OS update process.
The batch file autostart.bat must have the following contents:

When using devices
without any operating keys, you must delete the
following commands from the batch file autostart.bat .
\app\sys\testregistry AUTOSTART AutoCopy == 0

To update the OS of devices being equipped with keys, proceed as follows:
Step Action
1 Copy the OS file to your USB flash drive. This drive must be FAT
formatted.
2 Create a batch file on the USB flash drive and name it autostart.bat .
Contents of the batch file: See above.
3 Replace all entries jvm_ce0_1.00.0.04 with the actual name of the OS file.
4 Switch the device JVM-507B OFF.

Insert the USB flash drive into the JVM-507B.
6 Switch the device JVM-507B ON.

Simultaneously press the first and the third key before starting the
application program.
