Once the fire has been fitted then replacement of the internal parts can be finished.
Refit the fire components by reversing the sequence of steps above in the removal section.
Side V boards, rear V boards, bottom V boards, cast bottom grate, upper V board baffle, rear tube, lower V board
baffles, front tube and finally the door.
Check the door seals correctly
Check the operation of the air control
Fitting the Log Retainer
The log retainer can be attached at the front of the fire box by sliding down between the slots at each side of the
inner firebox at the front. The retainer should be fitted the correct way around as shown in the diagram below.
Fitting the Ash Pan
Fit the ash pan by sliding in under the cast bottom grid. Ensure it is fitted the correct way around with the handle
towards the front as shown below.
