Closing the ladder

To close the ladder, user must follow this procedure:

1. Hold the ladder in an upright position.

2. Using both hands, grab the plastic rings that con-

nect the rungs with the telescopic tubes (Fig. 9).

3. Using your thumb, press both locks in direction of

the rung (Fig. 8A), until both pins are unlocked.

4. The rungs will slide in together. Proceed until the

ladder is completely pushed together.

NOTE: To avoid the risk of getting your hands tra-

pped, do not put them on or between the steps while

closing the ladder (Fig. 8B).

Shortening the open ladder

When shortening an already opened/extended ladder,

always close the ladder first (check “Closing the lad

-

der”) and then open the ladder to the desired length

(check “Opening the Ladder: Intermediate length”).

Cautions & Warnings

For safety reasons, ladders in general shall always be

used with care and common sense. With regard to the

telescopic ladder, the following should be pointed out:

1. The ladder should always be used at an angle of

75 degrees in relation to the ground (Fig. 10).

2. The ladder is designed to support a maximum load

of 150kg (Fig. 11)

3.

The ladder should always be used on a flat and

firm level surface.

4. The upper rung must never be used as a foot step.

5. The ladder must be used with a regular distance

between the steps. Do not leave any steps without

extending and blocking them completely (Fig. 12).

6.  Avoid using the ladder in locations such as wa-

ter-filled wells to avoid dirt and water getting in the

tubes.

7.  Avoid subjecting the ladder to knocks or rough

treatment, as damage to the tubes directly affects

the telescopic function.

8.  Always transport the ladder in folded position, so

that the telescopic tubes are protected inside each

other and cannot be damaged.

9.  The ladder must not be used by hanging it from

the top rung.

10. Do not open, close or use the ladder upside down.

11. The ladder must not be used in a horizontal posi-

tion such as resting on a step or sawhorse.
