Winterize RV style refrigerator:
If your recreation vehicle has an RV style refrigerator; unplug the appliance, turn off the gas
and 12V power, and prop open the doors to prevent odors from forming. If it includes an ice
maker, the water line should be disconnected from the water solenoid and drained.Contact
your dealer for assistance.
Winterize Whirlpool Clothes Washer (If So Equipped):
1. Set the water temperature to WARM, Set the selector knob to NORMAL and press
START. As air is being blown into the water lines, air will
eventually replace the water coming into the drum. Press
and hold CANCEL/DRAIN, move the selector to DRAIN/

drain water out of the drum.
2. As antifreeze is added to the water lines in the RV, set
the temperature to WARM, and Set the selector knob to
NORMAL and press START. This will bring antifreeze
in through the hot and cold water lines.
Run the washer
just long enough to bring about a quart of antifreeze
into the drum.
3. Press CANCEL/DRAIN. If you open the drawer for the
softener (photo at right) antifreeze will be present in the
drawer (arrow).
4. Turn the selector to DRAIN/SPIN. This should drain
antifreeze down into the pump. Stop the washer and
unplug it. Wipe out any excess antifreeze in the drum.
De-winterizing the Whirlpool Clothes Washer: Run a full empty wash cycle before
camping season begins.
Winterize Fisher Paycal Dishwasher (If So Equipped):
1. Open the dishwasher and select RINSE. Close it and turn it ON. Antifreeze should be
brought in through the water lines. Let it run through the rinse cycle which should take
approximately 3 minutes.
2. The dishwasher will drain the antifreeze into the pump
Winterize the DEHCO Dishwasher (If So Equipped):
1. Open the dishwasher and select RINSE. Close it and turn it ON. Antifreeze should be
brought in through the water lines. Let it run through the rinse cycle which should take
approximately 3 minutes

De-winterizing the Dishwasher: Run an empty wash
cycle before camping season begins.
Winterize a macerator toilet: (If So Equipped):

toilet bowl. Add a little if necessary.
