1 

Turn Off the safety switch of the radar antenna. 

 

 

 

 When replacing a magnetron, 

turn Off the safety switch of the 

radar antenna. 

 

Turn off the safety switch located on 
the bottom of the stern side of the 
radar antenna.

 

 

2 

Remove the cover. 

 

 

The magnetron is mounted on the 
right side (starboard side) of the radar 
antenna. Remove the right side 
cover. 
 
The cover is secured in place with 
hexagon head bolts (M8, designed to 
be protected from falling out) at four 
positions. 
 
After removing the cover, place it in a 
safe area. 
Exercise care to avoid dust or other 
foreign matters adhering to the 
packing.
