Serial number

Each device has its 8 digit serial number, which can-
not be changed by the user.
For several devices, even after delivery a release of
certain functions is possible. In this case, the serial
number of the device is needed in the manufactu-
ring works.
For each device there are passwords deposited in
the producing works for releasing the functions
(options).

Software Release

The software within the device is ammended and
expanded continously. The software issue of the
devices are therefore marked with a software
release. The software release cannot be overwritten
by the customer.
