7.6 Multifunction channels
The terminal pairs 7/8, 9/10, 11/12 and 13/14
optionally serve as connections (4 channels) for the
following measurements:
1. Residual current measurement (RCM).
2. Temperature measurement.
3. Measurement of further current channels (mA
range) via suitable current transformers.

7.7 Residual current measurement (RCM)
The measurement device is suitable as a residual
current monitoring device (RCM) for monitoring
alternating currents, pulsating direct currents and
direct currents.
INFORMATION
Configure the function of the respective connec-
tion, residual current or temperature measurement,
in the GridVis
®
software.
To connect the multifunction channels, select from
the options residual current measurement, tem-
perature measurement, mA current measurement
or a combination of these measurements.
Type A
Type B and type B+
(via corresponding current transformers)
The meter measures residual currents according to
IEC/TR 60755 (2008-01) of:
Residual current transformers with a nominal
current as given in chapter „19. Technical data“
on page 96 are suitable for the meter’s residual
current measurement function.
