When possible, do not shim the swim spa. To ensure proper support the swim spa
must sit flat on the intended founda on.

General Electrical Safety Instruc ons
Your new Jacuzzi® swim spa is equipped with the ProTouch™ system. It contains
the most advanced safety and self-
protec ve equipment in the industry. None-
theless, this swim spa must be installed properly to ensure dependable usage. Please contact
your local Jacuzzi dealer or local building department should you have any ques ons regard-
ing your installa on.
Proper grounding is extremely important. Jacuzzi swim spas are equipped with a current col-
lector system. A pressure wire connector is provided on the surface of the control box, located
inside the equipment door to permit connec on of a bonding wire between this point and
any ground metal equipment, metal water pipe or conduit within 5 feet (1.5m) of the swim
spa, or copper clad grounding rod buried within 5 feet (1.5m) of the swim spa. Bonding wire
must be at least No. 8 AWG (8.4mm
2
) solid copper wire. This is a most important safety assur-
ance feature. Before installing your swim spa, check your local building department to ensure
installa on conforms to local building codes.

Electrical Installa on Instruc ons (230V Service)
IMPORTANT NOTICE: The electrical wiring of this swim spa must meet the re-
quirements of any applicable local codes. The circuit must be installed by a quali-
fied electrician and approved by a local building/electrical inspec on authority.
