3.1 Entrapment Risk
The Consumer Products Safety Commission/USA has reported that users of pools and spas
have become entrapped (stuck) to drain and/or suc on fi ngs causing death, drowning, or
serious injury (see diagram below). This swim spa was manufactured to meet the standards
and specifica ons outlined in the “Virginia Graeme Baker Pool and Spa Safety Act” (VGB Safe-
ty Act). Entrapment risk can be minimized if proper precau ons are taken.

Never operate the swim spa if a suc on fi ng, suc on cover, filter, filter lid or
skimmer assembly is broken, damaged or missing.
Note: Suc on covers must be replaced every 5 years.
