6.4.3 HAND THROTTLE _________________________________________________________
The hand throttle is part of the optional Diesel speed control accessory.
The hand throttle sets the engine speed for hydraulic accessories. When you move the hand
throttle, the accelerator pedal will move.
Only use the hand throttle for the operation of remote hydraulic accessories. Do not use the
hand throttle to drive the vehicle.
6.4.4 GOVERNOR CONTROL _____________________________________________________
The governor control is part of the optional Diesel speed control accessory.
The governor control decreases the engine governor RPM limits for the operation of the
hand and foot throttle.
Push the governor control completely to the top for the maximum engine speed. Pull the
lever down to decrease the maximum engine RPM.
6.4.5 SET/RESUME SWITCH _____________________________________________________
The set/resume switch is part of the gasoline speed control accessory. The operation of
the switch depends on the position of the stationary/cruise switch.
See 7.8 for operation
of the speed control system.
When the stationary/cruise switch is in the center position, the set/resume switch does
not function.
When the stationary/cruise switch is in the cruise control position, the cruise control
speed is set, increased or decreased with the set/resume switch.
When the stationary/cruise switch is in the stationary position, the engine speed is set,
increased or decreased with the set/resume switch.
6.4.6 STATIONARY/CRUISE SWITCH ______________________________________________
The stationary/cruise control switch is part of the optional gasoline speed control
accessory.
See 7.8 for operation of the speed control system.
Put the switch in the center position for normal operation of the vehicle. The engine
speed is controlled by the accelerator pedal.
Press the right side of the switch to the cruise control position to use the vehicle cruise
control. When the cruise control mode is active, the green light on the right side of the
switch will illuminate.
Press the left side of the switch to the stationary position to set the engine speed for use
with hand held hydraulic accessories. When the stationary mode is active, the green light on the left side of the switch
will illuminate.
