NOTE
Before removing the drive shaft and driven gear, mark
the mating gear teeth on both gears to ensure correct
installation.
8. Remove the drive shaft (7) and driven gear (11) from
the pump housing (3).
9. Remove two O-rings (1) from the pump housing (3).
10. Remove two alignment pins (2) from the pump
housing (3).
11. Remove the shaft seal (16) from the front cover (15).
NOTICE
12. Clean all parts using clean solvent, and dry using
compressed air.
13. Inspect all parts for wear or damage. Replace parts
as needed.
Assembly Notes
NOTICE
• Always install new seals and O-rings during
assembly, used parts may leak.
• Assemble the reel motor by reversing the order of
disassembly.
• When installing the drive shaft (7) and driven gear
(11), match the mating gear teeth using the marks
made prior to removal.
It is important that all motor parts are absolutely
clean, as contamination can result in serious
damage and/or improper operation.
Never use shop towels or rags to dry parts after
cleaning, as lint may clog passages. Dry parts
using compressed air.
