The shield of the cable is led to the CAN shield connections for all nodes

We advise against the use of plug adaptors for CAN bus cabling. Should this be necessary nonetheless, make sure to use
metal connector housings to connect the cable shield
In order to keep interferences as low as possible make sure that
Motor cables are not installed parallel to signal lines
Motor cables comply with item specifications
Motor cables are properly shielded and grounded
