Part No 1154245
5. Attach a tube between the remaining leg of the "T" fitting and a 30 psig pressure
gauge. Secure tube with hose clamps.
Pressure Testing
1. Check to make sure connections are tight.
2. Turn concentrator ON ( ).
3. Adjust the concentrator to MAXIMUM liter flow (5 liters for IRC5PO2VAW).
4. Wait approximately 5 minutes to allow system pressure to achieve proper equilibrium
before testing.
NOTE: The pressure in the concentrator should rise to 21 PSIG ± .3 and shift the 4-way valve to
the opposite sieve bed. After the 4-way valve shifts, the pressure in the concentrator will drop to 14
PSIG ± 2 before rising to 21 PSIG ± .3 and shifting the 4-way valve to the opposite sieve bed.
5. If pressure reading is 21 PSIG ± .3 when the valve shifts are made, proceed to STEP 6.
NOTE: If concentrator pressure DOES NOT fall into the specifications listed above, Refer to
Troubleshooting on page 16.
6. Turn concentrator OFF ( ).
After Testing
1. Unclamp pressure gauge and remove from “T” fitting.
1. Remove "T" fitting assembly from product tank.
2. Remove pressure sensor hose from "T" fitting. Reconnect hose onto product tank.
3. Check the connection for leaks.
4. Reinstall the cabinet onto the base of the concentrator.
