10.5.5 Installing Batteries into the Wheelchair

WARNING!
Risk of Serious Injury

Improperly installed battery tray can cause instability
resulting in serious injury.
-Ensure batteries and battery tray are installed

properly to maintain stability.

10 mm Hex Socket with Torque Wrench

Batteries MUST be installed in the orientation specified
for proper connection.

1. Slide the front battery

into the rear of the battery box

with the connector oriented towards the front of the
wheelchair.

Ensure battery cable covers (not shown) do not
snag on cable clips

inside of the battery box.

2. Connect the front battery harness

(red handle).
