.  Wear light colored clothing in order to be more visible at night. We suggest the  

addition of a light to your wheel chair.

.   For upper leg amputees, the driving wheels should be installed slightly more 

toward the back. Activating the anti-tip system is recommended.

.  To avoid hand injuries, to not reach between the driving wheel and the knee 

break when rolling the chair.

.  Be careful to avoid finger injuries when using, adjusting or assembling the 

AKTIVLINE Standard.

.  Retighten screws, nuts and bolts after making mechanical adjustments.

.  Take special care that the seating system is tightly affixed to the undercarriage.

.  Contact your authorized dealer or interco representative when you have ques-

tions or require assistance with your AKTIVLINE Standard.

.  Check the mechanical and technical connections on your AKTIVLINE Stand-

ard regularly. Consult your authorized dealer if you are uncertain about any 
mechanical or technical details.

.  Attachment of additional parts or alterations to the AKTIVLINE Standard 

which have not been carried out by the manufacturer is forbidden and may be 
legally prosecuted should it become known. In such cases, all liability claims 
against interco are nullified.

.  The AKTIVLINE Standard is intended only for use as directed. Avoid actions 

like driving against obstacles (such as curbs and steps) without setting the 
brake or jumping from elevated terrains or surfaces.

.  Exercise caution with fire (for example, a lit cigarette)! The seat and backrest 

upholstery could catch fire.

.  Never leave the patient unattended; not even when the patient is secured by 

a seat belt and all brakes are locked.

.  Do not allow children to play with the wheel chair or its parts.

.  When the wheel chair is in motion, or when the seat and back support element 

are in use, other children should not play next to, under, or in front of the chair.

.  In order to eliminate injury to others, do not leave the AKTIVLINE Standard 

and its passenger in the care of untrained individuals.
