2 . 12 Arm rests
AKTIVLINE Standard can be equip-
ped with different arm rests from
the series ALULINE. Fix the arm
rest by loosening the clamping le-
ver of the arm rest receptacle on
the right and left side of the seat
shell, insert the arm rest holder
and tighten the lever again. Adjust-
ments are always done by chang-
ing the depth of the insertion in the
square pipe (Photo
15 ).
To adjust the angle of the arm
rest proceed as follows:

Turn the fixing lever anti-
clockwise to open the fixture
(Photo
16 ).

The arm rest angle can be
adjusted now.

Change the square pipe to the
desired position and turn the black fixing lever clockwise to fix the square
pipe.

The position of the arm rest will now stay the same.

Repeat the same procedure on the other side.
2 . 13 Footrest System
The AKTIVLINE Standard foot rest system must be fitted to the patient’s lower
thigh. When doing this, it is important that the patient’s feet rest comfortably on
the footrest. To adjust the footrest system to the length of the patient’s lower
thigh, remove the screw on the adjustment plate of the footrest and move the
footrest system higher or lower along the middle bar. Once the correct position
has been located, tightly reattach the screw at the correct adjustment level.
2 . 13 . 1 Foot Spats
The foot spats encourage the dynamic of the AKTIVLINE Standard footrest sys-
tem. They should be loosely guided around the ankles and attached, but they
should not be tight or exert pressure.
