I. Stop the unit
II. Disconnect the PV-DC power cable, isolate it, sign it and protect it.
III. Disconnect the grid AC power cable.
IV. Wait 10 minutes for the internal capacitances to discharge, the hot parts to cool and the fan blades to
stop turning.
V. Open the door and discharge the Vbus by means of a suitable discharge resistance between the
+VBUS and -VBUS.
Check there is no voltage.
To carry out steps II, III, IV and V, it will be necessary to use the PPE stated in the section on PPE in this
document for work with live parts.
Any work carried out which implies a modification of the original electrical settings
must be proposed to and accepted by INGETEAM.
Safety measures: Accessing the housing through any other cubicle other than that
described is strictly prohibited.
4.4.3 Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
The preventive maintenance tasks for the electrical panels involve Inspection, Con-
trol and Handling actions, depending on the case.
Inspection:
The use of safety footwear to standard EN 345-1:1992 is mandatory. The use of kid leather type gloves is
also mandatory.
