For a lap/sash seatbelt, position the tongue in the
middle of the fully extended belt.
Feed the adult lap or lap/sash belt through the belt
path opening on each side of the Base (refer Figure 2
& 3).

Locate the Top Tether anchorages points.
Place the Base in that seating position (refer Figure 1).
Check and Verify that the base angle is as required,
otherwise adjust as shown (refer Pages 17)
Extend the seat belt to maximum length.
An anchor fitting is required to attach the top tether strap and to complete the installation of the
Infant Carrier into your vehicle (refer Page 28).

• Consult the car owner’s handbook for the location of the top tether anchorage points.
If there is no child restraint anchor fitting or child restraint anchor point refer to Page
49-50 for the installation of the anchor fitting.
