Since several artists can star in a single movie, each
movie can appear a number of times in the display, once
for each starring artist.
Press the
•
S
,
T
,
U
and
V
keys to step between
artists.
Use the
•
O
select
key to select an artist, after
which you can either play that movie, view more
detailed information about it or show all the movies
featuring your chosen artist.
ADDITIONAL MOVIE INFORMATION
Having selected a movie from the list, highlight the
show Info
button and press the
O
select
key.
Use the
J
menu
key to skip between the movie list
and the scroll buttons on the right. Press the
hide Info
button to return to the previous view.
THE NOW PLAYING sCREEN (VIDEO)
When you’re playing a movie, you can display the
now
playing
screen by pressing the
•
now playing
key on
the remote control. The screen is essentially the same
as that for audio (see page
30
). When the button is
pressed, the movie stops and its details are displayed,
including the title, director and coverart.
Controlling Movie Playback
Whether you are playing a movie from the
Video Library
or directly from the DVD, you can control playback using
the remote control. The controls are similar to those
available with a conventional DVD player.
When a DVD is selected for playback, the unit will
automatically switch to full screen mode. Depending
on the particular movie, the DVD menu options will
normally be displayed.

V
,
S
and
T
keys to navigate the DVD
menu structure.
Use the
•
O
select
key to make selections.

PLAYING MOVIEs IN THE VIDEO LIBRARY
In most screens you can use the
S
key repeatedly to
highlight the navigation tabs on the left-hand edge of
the screen, and then the
U
and
V
keys to select the tab
you require. If the tabs are not visible, press the
P
key
to return to the previous screen.
Displaying the Video Library
Press the
•
J
menu
key on your remote control from
any screen.
Use the
•
S
and
T
keys on the
home page
to
highlight the
ò
Video Library
icon and press
O
select.
The
Video Library
screen is displayed:
You can view the movies in your library by name, artist,
director, rating, genre or year. Use the
U
and
V
keys to
highlight your choice and press the
O
select
key.
Browsing the Video Library
The movies are arranged in alphabetic order, left to right
and top to bottom.
Use the
•
U
,
V
,
S
and
T
keys to highlight your
movie of choice.
Press the
•
O
select
key to select the movie and then
again to play it.
Press the
•
S
key to return to the Movies display.
Browsing the Video Library by Artist,
Director, Rating, Genre or Year
You can browse all these categories by following a
common procedure. For clarity and simplicity, we
will refer to Artists, but you should choose whichever
category suits you.
From the
ò
Video Library screen, use the
U
and
V
keys
to highlight your chosen category, in this case
artists
.
Press the
•
O
select
key to display the
artists
screen.
The TV screen will display your movies with the artist’s
name overlaid. Movies are listed in alphabetic order of
artist, from left to right and top to bottom.
