When the supply voltage has been switched on, the AC6000 starts with the factory settings. The
display elements signal the current operating status ( → Operating and display elements ( → p. 16 )).
To enable configuration of the gateway and IO-Link functions, the device must be integrated into the
AS-i network.
► Addressing the basic AS-i slave of the AC6000 ( → Addressing the AS-i slave of the AC6000
( → p. 24 )).
► Connect the addressed AC6000 with the AS-i network.
> AS-i master shows configuration error.
► Re-configure the AS-i network.
> AC6000 has a valid AS-i address.
> AS-i master switches to operating mode "Protected mode".
After successful configuration, the IO-Link master transfers the process data of the factory set gateway
profile (mapping of the process data: ID1 = 0xF ( → p. 58 )). The AS-i master can access the AC6000
via the set AS-i address.
