Step 4:

Attach DB-9 serial port connectors to the chassis

. The four DB-9 serial port

connectors can be inserted into four preformed holes in the chassis. Once,

inserted the DB-9 connectors should be secured to the chassis with the

retention screws.

Step 0:

5.7 External Peripheral Interface Connection

The following external peripheral devices can be connected to the external peripheral

interface connectors.

VGA monitor

DVI display device

2 x RJ-45 Ethernet cable connectors

2 x USB devices

Mouse/keyboard

To connect these devices, connect the corresponding cable connector from the actual

device to the corresponding NANO-4386A2 external peripheral interface connector

making sure the pins are properly aligned.

5.7.1 PS/2 Keyboard/Mouse Connection

The NANO-4386A2 has a single PS/2 connector on the external peripheral interface panel.

The PS/2 connector is connected to a keyboard or mouse. To connect a keyboard or

mouse to the NANO-4386A2, please follow the instructions below.

Step 1:

Locate the PS/2 connector

. The location of the PS/2 connector is shown in

Chapter 3

Step 2:

Align the PS/2 connector

. Align the PS/2 connector on the keyboard/mouse

cable with the PS/2 connector on the external peripheral interface.
