2.1 Using Analog I/O
Modules
Analog I/O modules are available that allow the MICRO/I to directly handle analog data such as voltage, current, and
temperature. There are ten types of analog I/O modules that differ by the number of analog inputs and outputs and
the operation mode. These analog I/O modules can be used by connecting them to the back of the MICRO/I.
Analog I/O module inputs support voltage, current, thermocouples, resistance thermometers, and thermistors. Analog
I/O module outputs support voltage and current.
To use Analog I/O modules, configures the settings on the
Module Configuration
dialog box. For details on
configuration methods, refer to Chapter 4 "Module Configuration Dialog Box" in the WindO/I-NV4 User's Manual. For
details on the analog I/O module parameter settings, refer to “2.2 Analog I/O Module Parameter Settings” on page 2-
13.
2.2 Analog I/O Module Parameter Settings
Analog I/O Module Parameter Settings are configured for each channel. The parameters to configure differ according
to the analog I/O module type and I/O type. Please configure the parameter settings according the application in the
Analog Module Configuration
dialog box.
For details on configuration methods, refer to Chapter 4 "Module Configuration Dialog Box" in the WindO/I-NV4 User's
Manual.
