MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES - SHEAR CUTTER
If the banding starts to chatter or scrape during
tensioning or leave a burr after the J is formed and cut,
the shear (Part No. 800515) may be honed using and 800
grit stone.
The shear can be honed in the areas shown in Figure 1
and Figure 2 to lightly remove any sharp edges or burrs
that have formed from use. If any problem persists
contact your Strapbinder Representative.
NOTE: Do not use a grinding wheel; removing too much
material can damage the shear.
