4.2.2 Cleaning of consumable rollers
This section explains how to clean consumable rollers.
CAUTION:
When the Main Unit is open, hands and objects can be caught by the Main Unit if
the Main Unit closes unexpectedly, Make sure you hold the Main Unit with your
free hand while you work.
1. Operate the Main Latch Button and open the Main Unit.
2. As shown in the figure below, remove the paper dust and foreign objects on the Pick Rollers,
Separator Rollers, and Reverse Rollers with gauze or the like.
3. It will be easier to clean the roller surfaces if you remove the Pick unit and the Reverse unit
from the scanner.
