3.4.7 Scanning Long Sheet with the Extension Plates
This section explains how to scan a small number of long paper sheets those length is 18 to 34
inches (458 to 864mm) in continuous scan mode using the Extension Plates.
The Extension Plates are accessories to extend the Input Tray and the Output Tray(U) for a
small amount of long papers.
There are two types of Extension Plate depending on paper length.

Extension Plate (attatched): paper length 18 to 26 inches (458 to 660mm)
Up to 30 sheets (75 g/m2, 20lbs)

Extension Plate 2 (attatched): paper length 26 to 34 inches (660 to 864mm) *option
Up to 10 sheets (75 g/m2, 20lbs)

*1 The number of .paper sheets that can be set varies depending on thickness and textures of papers.
Setting too much papers may cause paper jam or skew.
