3.2.4 Adjusting the Input Trays
CAUTION:
When setting document, be careful not to cut your finger with the edge of the
sheet.
NOTICE:
When sliding the Sheet Gude, hold the center of it or it may be damaged.

Paper Setting in the Input Tray (Fixed Width Paper)
1. Adjust the Extension Tray according to documents.
2. Slide the Sheet Guide wider than the stack of papers.
3. Place the paper stack face up on the Input Tray and align it to the top edge and left edge.
4. Slide the Sheet Guide and press on the paper stack slightly.
Check the following or paper jam or skew occurs.

The edges of the papers are not folded.

Paper stack is not aligned to the left edge.

Paper stack is not straight.

The Sheet Guide is not touched to paper stack.

Height of paper stack is 55mm or more.
